Welcome to the SATSA Tourism Business Incubator, where innovation and success converge.
In May 2022, following the SATSA Annual Conference, we launched a pioneering initiative to empower emerging tourism entrepreneurs. Our Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) service enables SATSA members to support up-and-coming businesses, facilitating their contribution towards the enterprise development (ED) and supplier development (SD) components of the B-BBEE scorecard.
Join us as a key player in the tourism industry's future, helping to cultivate the next wave of leaders. Our program, designed with agility and efficiency in mind, connects members and partners within a supportive network, ensuring high-impact assistance for all involved.
The inaugural year of the programme witnessed remarkable achievements, securing R5,5 million in enterprise and supplier development funding. This significant financial contribution led to an astounding increase in the monthly turnover of the top three incubatees by over R750,000, coupled with the creation of more than 20 new jobs.
Developed in collaboration with Sigma International, the Business Incubation program is tailored to drive transformation within the tourism sector, guided by our commitment to Access, Inclusivity, and Diversity. Participants in this program will find a wealth of resources, networking opportunities, and expert guidance, setting the stage for their success in the vibrant tourism marketplace.
